Anna Lorenz is a Gold & Silversmith based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, UK

Originally from the South of Germany, Anna apprentice trained with a Master Goldsmith in Regensburg, gained a BA (Hons) First Class Degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing from the School of Jewellery and completed a Master of Fine Art Degree at the School of Art, Birmingham City University in 2013. 

Anna works across the disciplines of Jewellery, Silversmithing and Sculpture with a similar, minimalist aesthetic. 

Her work is diverse and multi-layered, utilising Gold & Metalworking techniques to investigate formal concerns of geometric structures, space, layering, while conceptual thinking questions the transformation of materials and the importance of the creative engagement for the individual.

Anna is a scholar of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust. She exhibits internationally and her work is represented in the Grassi Museum in Germany, the Jewellery Quarter Museum in Birmingham, the Goldsmiths Contemporary Silver Collection in London and in private collections.
